menaing of relationship dream

in my dream : the setting was at my house. my ex boyfriend, terrance was there. (he's the first boy i ever fell in love with.) and it was some kind of party because i was in a cute black dress. terrance and i slowed dance in my kitchen and i told him i missed him and he replied with a "i miss you too." then i kissed him on his shoulder and he just held me as tight as he possibly could. and i asked him, "do you think there will be an "us" again?" and he just looked at me and i told him, " not to say yes, unless he really did miss me and want me back." and he said, "i want you back, but not right now. maybe next year." and then i woke up. i need to know what this means. especially, since i am currently in a relationship with a different boy.
