meaning of dreams eating

for some months now i have been dreaming of eating...most times i am alone..atimes am with someone.i am african,and over here its a bad omen for such to happen not to mention all the time. in a week i dream of eating at least in 4 nights,i never really gave it much thought until i wrote a promotion test and i failed woefully,even a friend i assisted did better. am scared cos i still cant believe i could fail,i was so prepared.usually if am asleep and in my subconscious i know am asleep..then i c food,i wont b able to control the urge to eat it until after i have done so then i wake up immediately..pls help; all dictionaries i checked say its a good sign,but personally i dont think so,which is the reason i wrote..pleeeeaassse help me.tanx so much
