meaning of dreams: snake bite

This is the second night that I am having the dream...I have been told by my mom and other people in the village that there is a large snake and it attacks and bites people and kills them immediately. No one has been able to stop it and it is very precise in its bites, kills instantly. I am sitting somewhere and the snake lunges at my hand and takes it in its mouth only it cannot bite me and kill me. I am surprised and I grab its head and hold it, the way a professional would hold a snakes head to stop it from biting them, the 1st night I wake up. The second night I had the same dream I did not wake up right away but told my mom that the snake came to kill me but it cannot and I don’t' know what than means and why it is unable to bite me....
